According to a grammar book, there are two kinds of "we".
Exclusive “we”: We’ll take care of our business, and you’ll take care of yours.
Inclusive “we”: We are all part of God’s great family.
Whitman’s Open Road has these lines:
The efflux of the soul is happiness, here is happiness,
I think it pervades the open air, waiting at all times,
Now it flows unto us, we are rightly charged.
